Rainbow fall on black

This quilt was made response to the given theme of “Aurora”.
Multi coloured cloud like northern light falling from dark winter sky.

Back ground is pure black. Tiny squares of colured fabrics are placed in order of gradation.
Some parts were quilted with bright rayon threads to illuminate northern light in the night sky/black background.
Others were quilted with black thread which can be only seen in close up but shows up as beautiful texture.

Material used are cotton fabric, cotton thread, rayon thread, cotton wadding/batting.

Size ; 37″W by 38″ H 94cm by 96.5m approx..

There is a hanging sleeve attached on the back of this quilt where you can insert a bar for hanging.
A hanging bar and hanging fixture are not included with this listing due to postage.
The detailed hanging instructions will be included.

Please place this quilt away from direct sunlight in order to avoid sun damage.
Dusting and spot cleaning is recommended.
If necessary, it can be washed in cold gentle cycle with gentle detergent.
Air dry on flat surface. Steam to remove excess wrinkles.
Do not dry clean.
Do not tumble dry.
